I have always enjoyed the work of East Asian cinema, there is so much passion put into their work, their movies are atmospheric and beautifully done. Especially the horror genre, I'd like to say that they are THE MASTERS of this genre and what makes them different is that they rely on good storytelling and good acting rather than cheap jump scares, unlike Hollywood films.
To honour the East Asian cinema I decided to create three minimalist posters for my top three films (Noroi: The Curse (ノロイ), Onibaba (鬼婆) and The Wailing (곡성/哭聲).
